The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major competition

The rising star boasts considerable online presence

Kai Trump can count on numerous well-known cheerleaders as she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns several international courses and regularly matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she revealed.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to play and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in only three events this year and holds the 461st position in AJGA standings.

However she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He is the best player in the world," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to play, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in the sport at the competition, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials stated that her participation brings golf to different demographics, particularly with youth audiences.

Kai maintains millions of followers and just introduced a personal fashion and living company.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
