Performer Denies Anti-Vaccine Position After Voicing Controversial Coronavirus Documentary

The acclaimed actor has given his narration to a new documentary that casts doubt on the legitimacy of immunizations and commends ex- cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Documentary's Provocative Origins

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a well-known publication published by a controversial scientist, who gained notoriety during the health crisis for allegations that the illness was linked to a faulty batch of the seasonal immunization.

Her co-author, a producer, has previously authored books with controversial media personality the Infowars host. He took to social media hailing Neeson's involvement in the project.

A Strong Denial

Representatives for Liam Neeson have provided a comment strongly denying implications that he subscribes to anti-vax sentiments.

"We all recognize that misconduct might be present within the medical sector, but that cannot be confused with being against vaccines," the response states. "He is not, and is not, anti-vaccination. His long work with the UN children's agency reinforces his long-held support for global immunisation initiatives."

The statement continued that the star did not shape the film's narrative and that concerns about its assertions should be directed to the producers.

Key Claims In the Documentary

As presented, the voiceover spoken by Neeson makes several controversial points:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have called for "complete compliance" to public institutions.
  • It argues that "science has become highly politicised."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is featured saying, "The major issue with vaccines is that they are not properly vetted."
  • The film further attacks stay-at-home orders, saying they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Concerning pandemic shots, it mentions a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Past Context and Ongoing Issues

The documentary includes a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for unbalanced reporting.

Recently, RFK Jr called on the Centers for Disease Control to change its long-held position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is also referenced in the documentary, despite a recent study from the global health body stating no connection has been found.

An Earlier Statement of Advocacy

Differing from the film's tone, Neeson has previously voiced firm endorsement for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," adding that "The discourse about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in our history."

The film ends with Neeson's voice proclaiming, "This marks not the conclusion of our story. It is the beginning of a new chapter."
